脳腫瘍の診断・治療向上を目指して


悪性脳腫瘍は治療成績の向上が未だに達成されておらず、予後不良な疾患として数多くの患者さんを苦しめています。私は現在、少しでも悪性脳腫瘍の診断・治療を向上させるべく、大阪大学脳神経外科で脳腫瘍の治療・研究にあたっております。私の研究では以下の3つのテーマを中心に研究を進めています。


  1. 1.悪性脳腫瘍の生物学的特徴をより詳細に画像化できるようPETやMRIによる分子イメージングの開発を行っております。

  2. 2.中枢神経系原発悪性リンパ腫を中心に悪性脳腫瘍の生物学的特徴を明らかにしようと試みています。

  3. 3.超音波を利用した中枢神経系への新規の薬物デリバリー手法の開発を行っています。
